Equity Membership
Equity Members are those
households who have already committed to purchasing a home
in the community and have invested a minimum of $15,000 in
the project. There are currently twenty-nine Equity Member
households of a total projected number of
thirty-six.
Please note! — Yes, the graph shows that we’re approaching full enrollment, so we urge those interested to come visit us now! We will also be forming a waiting list of interested families, as we know from other cohousing communities that unexpected membership changes sometimes occur during the development phase.
Exploring Membership
Exploring Members are those households who have an interest in becoming Equity Members, but are not yet ready to commit. A six-month Exploring Membership costs $250. There is no limit on the number of households who may become Exploring Members. If you're interested in becoming an Exploring Member, read the Equity Member biographies on the "Who We Are" page to learn a bit about the folks already involved, then click here to access downloadable forms and pertinent information. If you'd like to visit to meet us personally and to check out the property, please attend one of our regular Open Houses, listed in the "Upcoming Events" section of the Home page.
Friend
Friends are those who are interested in our cohousing development, but not ready or able to commit their time or money. Friends receive our eNewsletter, and may remain on the mailing list forever. Friends who follow our progress and like what they are seeing may perhaps join us someday! Friends may also attend community meetings to observe, with prior notice and approval.
